In 2025, in Pointe-à-Pitre, there was no way to know which restaurant still had colombo at lunchtime without calling each one, one by one. Paper menus were out of date by the next day. Stock was a lottery. And national platforms knew neither our addresses nor our dishes.
OLaNouKay was born from this simple frustration: a tool designed for island life was missing. A tool that understands the corner snack bar has no website, the seaside fisherman has no tablet, and residents want to order in Creole or French, without friction.
This is not a project by Parisian founders who “discovered” Guadeloupe on holiday. It is a local answer to a local need, built with the professionals and for the residents of the islands.

Every euro spent on OLaNouKay stays in the islands. We work only with professionals from Guadeloupe and Martinique, never with national chains. The local economy deserves a platform that looks like it.
No account required to browse. No app to download to order. Works on the old smartphone in the drawer, on a 3G connection. Technology should fade behind the experience.
